A McDonalds Miracle

Last Monday, I went to Dubuque, Iowa for a Zone P Day. We saw one of those touristy binocular things that you have to put a quarter into to use and I offered to but Elder Toone some McDonalds if he loaned me a quarter to use. 30 minutes later, I found myself in a car full of hungry missionaries in a McDonalds drive through, and I decided to use my last 34 dollars to buy them all some food. I was a little bit sad about losing my 34 dollars, but i wanted to be a brother so I just let them get whatever they wanted. When we pulled up to the second window, they told us it was going to take a little bit so we pulled off into the parking spot and waited. It ended uup taking about an hour to get our food, so the manager came out and gave me my 34 dollars back! It was a miracle.

Also this week, we got a call from Hno. Rodriguez, a huy we are teaching, and he told us that his wife and her friends from their church were going to go make a whole bunch of mexican food at another church and he invited us to come. So elder westover and I got to go have an unhealthy amount of tostadas so that was cool. When we left I told the Rodriguez family that my birthday was the next day so they told me they were going to make a pinata for me. Score.

We've been working with two part member families recently, and one of them came to church! It was awesome. We've been having to spend a lot of time outside of our area so it's good to see some success.

We didn't have a whole lot going on this week, but I loved it anywats. Being on a mission is the best.

I love you all a lot!
