This week, our boi Miguel called us up and told us that his friend was getting married and he invited us to come. Of course, we accepted and when the day came we got all gussied up and went to danceland ballroom in downtown davenport (check it out on google maps). We very quickly realized we were overdressed, most people were in jeans, cowboy hats, and maybe a button up shirt. The three people wearing suits in the whole building were me, Elder Hutchings, and the groom, who danced for 25 minutes to the same 10 second loop of earth-shakingly loud music. People would come up and ask miguel if he came alone, but then he'd introduce us to them. What a cool guy. The next day, we were eating lunch on the banks of the Mississippi and out of nowhere, miguel rolled up behind us on his bike. That was pretty cool.

We gave a training on the morning schedule in zone conference this last week, and it was cool to feel the spirit work through us as we talked. Even with something like the morning schedule, the spirit was able to testify through us and I was grateful for the opportunity to be an instrument in gods hands.
