Jul 23, 2018

This week was pretty good. We've been really busy with meetings and such, but we still had a good week

We started off the week by going to Des Moines, where I got to go on exchanges with elder Wood! That was really cool. It was cool to work with my trainer again, and we even taught in spanish for a little bit so that was really cool. He is an awesome missionary

Also this week we had interviews with president badger. Thats always fun, we have an awesome mission president and its good to talk to him.

We really didn't have a ton of time in our area which was a bummer, but on saturday Elder Palmer and I decided that we needed to go find some people, so we went out and the second door that we knocked on we met this 17 year old kid who was super interested and wanted to come to church, and he also said that his family would be interested so we set a time to come back later that day to meet the family. When we came back, no one answered, so we called him and he told us that his mom didn't want us to teach him. That was a real bummer. I was pretty upset about that for a while, but on sunday night we called to get some information on how the work was going in the zone and everyone else had an incredible week and found a whole bunch of people. That made me feel a whole lot better, and it was exciting to see everyone getting excited about the work they put in. That was fulfilling

Thats basically it. In other news, I made a calzone this week and it was perfect.

I love being a missionary and sharing the gospel that I love! The church is true
