Baptism Antics

Wus good everybody

We had an incredible week. Elder Glenn and I have been grinding all transfer and we have really seen the blessings of it. We have been working with the grandson of a member for a while and he got baptized yesterday. He's a really cool kid. Everything was looking good for the baptism and we went to our church on saturday night at 8 and started cleaning the font and at 8:15 we realized we had no baptismal suit for him and that the closest on was 40 minutes away in Des Moines, so we sprinted to our car and flew threw a torrential rainstorm up to the church in Des Moines. We got there, got the keys, got into the closet only to find that there was no suit. All they had was adult white pants and Shirts. So we called an audible and jetted over to waukee, stayed with some elders there over night, went to their church early the next morning, swiped a suit, and got back to indanola. The craziness did not end there, we ended up having 6 new people come to church with us this week so we juggled all of them, dealt with the old ladies of our branch complaining about the temperature or something, and got everything set up for the baptism. It was wild, but everything turned out well. Satan always tries to stop good things, but the good always wins ðŸ’ª

Mason (the kid who got baptized) lives with his mom who is not a member but really nice. The member who gave the talk on the holy ghost is a missionary work machine, and he literally invited Mason's mom to be baptized over the pulpit and later invited her back to church and now she's trying to get baptized too. Members have such power! Share the gospel!

I love the mission! I love talking about the gospel with people. The church is true
